    Hello Sir,

Today I’m playing around with your incredible plugins… Installed the bitcoin and altcoins wallet plugin for WordPress together with the coinpayments.net plugin. First I could access everything. And everything worked great. But after setting up capabilities I was unable to access anything. When I visit the public wallet page on my website with the shortcodes I can see everything… Is amazing. ?? But, in my dashboard, I don’t have access to the settings/wallets anymore. The plugin is not even displaying in my sidebar with other plugins. Really strange. Do I need to delete everything and start over? Or can I change capabilities to get access back? I’m more than happy to give you access to the website if that is possible.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The Wallets menu displays only to users who have the manage_wallets capability. So, use any role editing plugin to verify that your admin account has this capability.

If this fails, it is possible, although very unlikely, that some other plugin or even the theme is preventing the menu from displaying. I have only seen this once but I’m mentioning it as a possibility. So, if the menu does not display after verifying the manage_wallets cap, try deactivating other plugins or changing theme to see if this makes a difference.

Please let me know what you find. Thank you.

    with regards,
    Alex

    Hello Alex,

Thank you so much. I managed to get access back after installing a role editing plugin. And indeed give me manage_wallets access. I thought I did that yesterday in the capabilities settings but apparently not.

    Kind regards

Great to hear that you resolved the problem. The wallets plugin will not let you edit the admin capabilities to prevent exactly this situation.

I am marking the thread as resolved. If you face any further difficulties please open a new thread.

    with regards
