• Hello!
I actually don’t know which version of wordpress I am using, so I chose a random one, since I don’t know how to find it if not in the admin page… which I can’t access.
I found a topic about this already and a number of tutorials online on how to fix this, but absolutely nothing works. I’m a newbie, but I tried everything. When I try to log in /wp-admin, the message “You don’t have permission to access this page” (translated from portuguese) appears. I tried deactivating all plugins, tried renaming the plugin folder, tried deactivating my current theme, tried upgrating the DB, tried renaming the plugin I last made changes on, which was revolution slider… I found that the portuguese language pack is often the cause of this problem and that I should rename it (it would be pt-br.php), but I don’t have that file on the languages folder. So I’m at a loss.

  • If your website is located at brinquedopolis.com.br then I get

    Address Not Found

brinquedopolis.com.br could not be found. Please check the name and try again

Since your domain seems to be active, you should check whether something happened with DNS records, or there’s some problem at your hosting, which seems to be locaweb.com.br

If you’re talking about other website, then we’d need to know which one it is.

It is this one. I can open it here, but I can’t log in. How do I check if something happened with DNS records?
Tried contacting locaweb but it’ll take them 4 days to answer and if I could solve this before then it would save my life.

All DNS’es point to the same address except one from Brasil? https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/brinquedopolis.com.br

If I try to access that IP directly I get

    Internal Server Error

UID of script "/home/httpd/html/index.php" is smaller than min_uid

Which, doesn’t necessarily means something’s wrong. Anyway, try to login to your domain control panel and doublecheck “domain name server” entries.

And after typing all of this, I tried to access your website, and it works. ??
https://brinquedopolis.com.br/wp-login.php also brings me to login page, no problems at all. Go figure…

Yeah, I get to the login page fine too, but after I login I get the “no permission” message.
Last question, promise. I wasn’t the one who made the page, I’m taking over it only now, and I have absolutely no experience with this. But does this have to do something with changing the dns entry from locaweb to wordpress? I THINK the person who was managing this was using a plugin to edit the site via wordpress but it wasn’t mapped, at least when I contacted wordpress in the help chat that’s what I was told. I have another website, easyyourlife.com which works just fine for me, I mapped the domain. Do I have to do that, edit the DNS entries? They’re locaweb, not wordpress.

They can’t be wordpress’es if they’re hosted at locaweb. I mean, DNS entries for a domain must point to actual hosting company. BTW are you trying to say that the website was transferred from wordpress.com to the current hosting company and new domain?
Regarding getting 403 AFTER you enter login credentials, if that started happening without you actually changing anything from the dashboard or cPanel, I’d say it is something that your hosting has to figure out.
And, of course, feel free to ask more questions. ??

Hmmm ok, I’ll wait for locaweb’s answer then. Thanks a lot! ??
