    Hi ProfileGrid team —

I’m having two problems I hope you can help with:

    1. I have a situation where users cannot update a profile pic after they register. I have the profile pic upload option as part of the registration form and have set a default profile pic, and that all works fine, but once they become registered, when they go to their Edit Profile, the upload profile pic isn’t there. I found this response from you to another user in this forum: Users may change the cover image from their profile page after login, if you have enabled the option “Show option to change cover image” under “Profile Cover Image” from “ProfileGrid >> Global Settings >> User Accounts” in the dashboard. But I don’t see that option (or a Profile Pic version of it) anywhere in my settings. So, I’m hoping this is an easy fix.

    2. The user profiles look great on desktop, but I’m noticing that on many tablets and all mobile phones, the tabs lose control and the entire profile turns into one long, ugly scroll through the content of each tab. It looks really bad, and even though the tabs remain on the top and still work, the whole structure falls apart in terms of display. Can you help me fix this?

    Thanks! – Mike

    Hello @mikeybayer,

Please make sure that you have enabled the option “Show option to change Profile image” under “Profile Image” from from “ProfileGrid >> Global Settings >> Elements Visibility” in the dashboard. After this once users go to their profile after login, they will be able to see the edit image option on mouse hover the profile pic.

Regarding the profile display, it might be due to some CSS conflict. In order to help, more information will be needed from your side to understand why the problem occurs and what can be a viable solution.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Somebody brought it to my attention that they couldn’t change their photo under Edit Profile. Now I’m thinking I should add a line of text to the Edit Profile form telling users how to change their profile pic – can you suggest a quick way for me to add that text? I assume with CSS, but I’m not a natural developer, so would need some guidance. Thanks.

Oh, and on the other matter, I will use the form you shared.

    Hello @mikeybayer,

You can add a line by creating custom template. You can create new template by copying and renaming “default” folder inside “[plugin root]/public/partials/themes” to “[your current theme directory]/profilegrid-user-profiles-groups-and-communities/themes and edit HTML or CSS as required.

To change profile page template, you need to edit ‘profile-tpl.php’ file.
