Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I had to find an alternative solution. Thank you for trying, Jeroen.

For future reference; someone else posted recently about it being related to a code snippet changing the menu, removing the ‘howdy, {name}’ text.

I can’t say that’s the same situation I’m experiencing.
