Nivo Slider WP Theme

I am working from a wordpress theme and I’m having trouble getting images to appear in the homepage slider. The theme uses the nivo slider. Below I’ve pasted the html code that appears when I look at my current home page. Am I missing something here? I don’t understand why the slider will not appear on the home page…. Any advice?
