NitroSmush is dead / abandoned?

    Not urgent, just a suggestion

    I’m aware that NitroSmush is external image compression service and that it is included as an alternative to reSmush.it.

    Just to inform you that I’m almost always getting error when trying to compress with their service.

    HTTP/1.0 500 Internal Server Error

    Their site is working, but API does not work. Can you try to confirm that they still offer their service? It looks like they’ve stopped maintaining it; maybe NitroSmush is abandoned.

    Thanks for reporting. I can confirm that compressing JPGs with their service often results in an error. I’ve contacted them to find out more about it.

    Nitrosmush is indeed abandoned, so we’ll remove it from the plugin in the next release.
