• Stay away from this plugin unless you have a super simple site, that doesn’t have much JS or CSS!

    One of our clients (whos site I’m not going to link here) installed NitroPack on his site about 2 weeks ago.

    It has caused numerous issues with things not displaying correctly on his website, broken fonts, menus not displaying, menus displaying when they shouldn’t.

    The site looks like a mess. Their “Ludicrous” setting messes up more things than you could imagine, and “Strong” isn’t much better. “Medium” doesn’t speed up the site enough to make it worth paying for!

    Without NitroPack it looks beautiful and everything works as it should, just slowly.

    Customer service is terrible, it doesn’t help that they are on the opposite side of the world to us and their day starts at our 5pm, so we have only 1 hour of overlap and they never answer at the start of a shift.

    2 weeks tomorrow and counting, and we cannot get this resolved.

    On top of all of that – PageSpeed Insights still gives between 17-30 for mobile speed ??

    The Ludicrous mode can be suboptimal for JavaScript-heavy websites. We’ve stated that our WordPress plugin and Help Desk documentation.

    Our tech support and dev teams usually have to build custom solutions for these JS-heavy websites. These fixes are much more complex and take a lot of time to complete.

    That’s why we have features like our Safe Mode, which lets our support team investigate and solve issues without website interruptions. We’re also constantly onboarding new support and dev team members to resolve these cases faster.
