We just installed Nitropack caching on our WordPress site. Do you automatically whitelist all their IPs?

They said to disable Cleantalk SpamFirewall, and they said this is to avoid them having to constantly whitelist their IP addresses.

So we want to know if you are always up-to-date on those IPs, because we would like to keep Clearntalk active.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

No, we don’t whitelist Nitropack IPs automatically. You can add these IPs:

    https://help.nitropack.io/en/articles/3379008-ip-whitelisting

    To your personal SpamFireWall lists:

    https://cleantalk.org/my/show_private?service_type=spamfirewall

After adding IPs, please click the button ‘Synchronize with Cloud’ (go to WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> gray button on the top of the page).
    Wait for a few minutes.

    The guide is here:

    https://cleantalk.org/help/sfw-blacklist-usage

You can disable SpamFireWall if nothing helped. This is a part of the CleanTalk plugin, so the main anti-spam protection will work.

    Thanks much for this.

    Last questions:

If we did not whitelist Nitropack’s IPs, would CleanTalk ever block them?

If Nitropack adds or changes IPs, would CleanTalk block those?

SpamFireWall should not block Nitropack’s IPs, but Anti-Crawler can block them. In case of blocking try to disable Anti-Crawler first here: WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings. You can always contact us by our private Ticket System:

    In addition to previous post:

OK, I just uploaded many IPs of Nitropack as per your instructions. Now we’re not sure if we did this correctly.

It is showing those IPs, but in the table to the right it is showing the URLs of various website that we have. We’re not sure why it’s showing our sites. We were just trying to whitelist Nitropack’s IPs.

    Is everything OK?

    Thanks!

Seems to be OK. You added IPs for all your websites.

Excuse me, you are a professional and we are just novices at this. So I didn’t understand your last post.

I said that we uploaded the Nitropack IPs, but in the Cleantalk table to the right it is showing our website URLs — even URLs of sites that we do not use Nitopack on. I’m not sure what this all means.

Also, in response to previous post:

Anti-Crawler is not checked in our advanced settings, and in fact for some reason there is no way to checkmark it.

    (@sergecleantalk)

You added IPs for all websites from your list. There was an option to add for the exact website or add for all websites.
If Anti-Crawler is turned off then Nitropack’s IPs should not be blocked.

Hate to keep bothering you, but you’ll have to bring the tech-savvy talk down quite a bit for us to understand. Didn’t understand the last two posts.

All we did is go to Nitropack and find their IPs, and we uploaded them to CleanTalk. We know nothing about how this relates to that table which is somehow associating those IPs with our sites.

Can you answer us as if we’re 15 years old? Thanks!
