Ninja Forms with 4.2

  • Downloaded the latest ninja forms from 4/25, says it’s compatible with 4.2…

    I get the following in my httpd-error log, and all pages pretty much fail, once I try to activate the plugin. Removing the plugin dir fixes the problem.

    Call to undefined function session_id() in /usr/local/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/ninja-forms.php on line 652,

    I don’t see anything in the install documents about any special settings necessary.

    Apparently the default install of mod_php56 on FreeBSD 10 from ports does not include session support.

    Recompiling the entire mess from source resolved it.
