Ninja Form plugin seems to be conflicting with WPBakery Visual Composer page builder plugin. It is causing the settings window of Visual Composer to open at the bottom of the page and every time one has to scroll down to the bottom of the page in order to edit. Also, it won’t allow me to drag the settings window to the top. I have checked it at my end and has made using Visual Composer much cumbersome.

I want to keep using both the plugins on my blog. Please help me out has what could be done to resolve the issue. If needed, I can provide a screen capture of the entire problem to help you understand the problem better.

    Thanks in advance.

Same issue here. It worked previously. People can switch to an alternative in this case Caldera Forms in the meantime.

Same issue for me too. On a new site, I switch to Caldera Forms and all worked great. But on older sites…some of these have a lot of forms….I really don’t want to recreate them all. Hope it gets fixed. New update to visual composer today…anyone know if it helps?

For all those who have the problem, that the visual composer editor appears at the bottom of the post / page edit page: I found out, that the plugin “Ninja Forms” uses the jquery smoothness .css; the editors fixed position is overwritten with “relative” because it’s an UI element, too. You have to open the js_composer_backend_editor.css in wp-conten/js_composer/assets/css/ and scroll down to the element ”.vc_ui-panel” (in my Version its on line 4823). Just set position: fixed to “position: fixed !important”-

This will solve the problem and readjust the editor to his common position.

And the answer is no….new version of visual composer 4.7.1 and Ninja Forms 2.9.27 still do not play nice…loads visual composer form below page view port.

    have you try

i do not have yet latest version

if you have a link a dropbox i need to await for my theme to update tonight so i can test

Yeah! After the recent update of VC, I did not face any problems. Thanks to both VC and Ninja Form developers for getting this rectified. Really appreciate it!

Hello, I have updated but have a customized version of VC supplied by the theme and I am still experiencing this issue. Can you update this thread with what the change / fix is?

    Thanks for any assistance!
