    Hi,

The plugins installation order in not important.

However, it writes the domain name to its configuration (it is needed by the firewall), therefore it should be installed when the domain name is working. It should not be installed, for instance, from an IP (http:/x.x.x.x/blog/) while waiting from the DNS propagation.

    Hi,

In that case wouldn’t have to use a maintenance plugin to install the firewall since the site would be live?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I checked the installer and noticed that we only use the WP plugins_url() function during installation, so that means that as long as your blog URL as shown in the WP General Settings is correct, you can install it.

I don’t think a maintenance plugin would help because if, for instance, NinjaFirewall crashed, that plugin would crash too.

    Hi,
The point is that once my site is live how do I install the firewall since anyone can access my site?

    Thanks

    Hi,

You can install it as soon as the site is live, that will not be a problem.
