    Hello,

I installed Iubenda in a website so as to let it GDPR compliant. The plugin destroyed the layout of the header and footer of the website. I then deactivated it and uninstalled it. After uninstall, the plugin did not clean properly as it must the code. The result is a iubenda placeholder left in the footer. The header logo was moved to right and I am now unable to let it centered again. In the footer, the nice lay-out with contact information was broke.

Please, let me know how to fix this.

    Looking forward to your reply,

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    thank you for reaching us.

Can you please try to switch parsing engine in our plugin?

    • In the Cookie Solution area of our plugin, click “Configure”;
    • You can switch the parsing engine from primary to secondary or vice-versa. Screenshot:?https://prnt.sc/hjGRbdF7rr03

Most of the times, this can solve this kind of issues.

    Hope this helps ??

    Hello,

Thank you. I have uninstalled the Iubenda plugin and it left residual code that broke my header and footer. In the WordPress Appearance>Editor, I am not able anymore to do changes, add or delete blocks because of this iubenda bug. Please, let me know how to remove this iubenda residual code from the website.

    Hi,

dev team is investigating about a possible fix with the next plugin release.

In the meantime you can delete the code manually in two ways:

    1. From admin panel you can find the block and remove it

    2. You can do it directly from the database

Currently, checking the code of your website we can’t find the code you are pointing out so we guess that in the meantime you have resolved the issue.

Let me know if you need further help
