Without meaning any offense and a well understanding of the sheer complexity of software development, but this plugin is just a nightmare.

After upgrading the plugin to the newest version, paypal quick checkout adds additional shipping costs within its modal – even if they are already included within the gross price of the order. This results in the well-known order notes about payment maybe being overcharged which you find a lot of tickets within this support forum.

The “original” checkout with Paypal does not work at all anymore, resulting in an error message that tells the user that something went wrong and he shall switch to a different payment method. The logs are also very generic and don’t help you to understand what the problem is and you as a developer could possibly do to fix it.

An absolute nightmare if you have been running an onlineshop and such things happen, especially if you maintain it for a client.

I find it hard to understand how one of the world’s leading eCommerce software vendors releases a plugin of such poor quality for one of the most common payment gateways.

    Hello @kool_69

    Thanks for your feedback.

I’ve revisited your issue and we’re ready to analyze it. However, as you know, we requested a system report which we haven’t received yet. The issue you’re experiencing usually arises from using custom code or 3rd party plugins, which wouldn’t occur in a classic WooCommerce workflow and therefore requires detailed analysis. Not everything works out of the box, especially in a WordPress environment.

We’re ready to look into this, but we need more information, and so far, we don’t even have the URL of your site.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
