Nickname instead of username

  • Hi, great plugin.

    I am trying to do a few things and am not having any luck.

    I am getting data to output perfectly fine but the thing I am trying to achieve is instead of displaying the username of the user that submitted form data I instead want to submit the nickname so it is a bit more secure ??

    Is this possible without having them enter it in themselves?

    Also, is it possible to limit based off nickname, ie, limit to displaying only 1 entry from all nicknames and sort by nickname.

    To do that, you would have to create your own short code wherein you take the userid and call a function to look up the nickname.

    As for displaying 1 entry per name, again you would have to write that login in your own short code.
