Nick Name Handling

Not sure if this is a bug or intentional functionality. When I edit a person’s nick name entering “Rob” in the Nick field, upon saving and returning to the record the entered text appears appended to the end of the text in the Given field. Also when viewing the page the nick name is inserted in the full name with no brackets i.e. “Robin Adrian Rob Bull” as opposed to something like “Robin Adrian (Rob) Bull”.
