    Hi JVRudnick,

That’s weird, are you sure you didn’t enable the cookie setting and dismissed the box before? You can test by enabling “test mode” in the box settings.

Also, do you have a link to your site? It could be that there’s another plugin throwing a JavaScript error somewhere, preventing our scripts from doing its job.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi….
okay, I just enabled the test mode…still no box.

i’m at jimrudnick.ca – and the box is set to come up on everthing….but it aint…

prob me…but I’ve no idea…my plugins that are activated are…
akismet, advanced custom fields, author wordcount, boxzilla, buy this book, jetpack, mailchimp, slimstat and Yoast SEO.

if you can help that’d be swell!

    Hi,

I first downloaded Scroll Triggered Boxes and it was working fine. Then i saw the notice to download Boxzilla instead, deleted STB and downloaded Boxzilla. I created a new box using the exact same setting but now box wont appear. (test mode is enabled)

@jim, did you manage to figure this one out? If I take a look at your site, the box is coming up for me when I scroll down far enough: https://take.ms/9ha5c

If it’s not, can you try another browser to see if it’s coming up then?

@brokoliweb, do you have a link to your site and could you please open a separate issue so it’s a little easier for us to keep track of outstanding issues? Thanks in advance!

I’m having the same issue, but after reading this thread, I missed what was the resolution.

I’m trying to have a box open when the page is at 65% and the post tag condition is met. I’ve enabled test mode (in case it was a cookie issue) and still not working.

It did work when I used relative URL, but I want to use the post tag as the trigger.

So the problem only arises with the post tag condition?
Are you sure the post tag is correct, capitals and all?

What is an example of a blog post with that tag so we can open the direct link to this post and test there?

It appears so. If I use the relative URL, it works.

When entering the post tag variable, I am presented with a list of current tags. I selected (not typed) “Implementation”, so there shouldn’t be a upper case/lower case issue

A box should pop up on https://www.dougtedder.com/2016/02/24/because-youve-really-not-implemented-itil/

I have it configured as follows:

    Post tag is Implementation
    Box position Bottom Left
    Animation – Slide in
    Auto-show box? 75%
    Auto-hide? No
    Enable test mode? No
    Hide for MailChimp subscribers? No

On that page the box does work for me.

Thanks for having a look. Why does it not work for me? I have “test mode” enabled, both at the box level and at the settings level.

In the overview above i see:
    Enable test mode? No

But i assume you changed that since.

Maybe test in Incognito mode to make sure no cookies are loaded?
    Test in another browser?

What OS and Browser are you using?

I can get the boxes to work consistently using Chrome.

I am not getting the boxes to work with IE11, neither in normal or private mode. I am running Windows 10.

    Hi Doug,

I’m running some tests using your site and IE11 as we speak. Will report back to you with my findings and hopefully a fix!

    Hi everyone,

I was able to confirm a bug in Internet Explorer 11 when using the “percentage trigger” setting. We’ll be pushing out an update that fixes this early next week but if you’re in a hurry to get the fix applied, please note that you can always download the latest version of the plugin from the GitHub project page: ibericode/boxzilla-wp .

    Download link: https://github.com/ibericode/boxzilla-wp/archive/master.zip

Hope that help & thank you for your patience on getting this resolved. ??

I uploaded the boxzilla plugin. Activated. Yet, when successfully installed it will not activate. I call it to do so on the main plugin display page, yet nothing. Any ideas why this is happening? am so frustrated now as I really wanted to try it out for my blog to see how it will work with my newsletters.
Thanks for any advice you may have,
    Sasa
