I very very seldom write reviews. In fact I only write them when I really like a plugin and this one I really like. It is a a good looking plugin and for the most part works. The issues I see are minor but it keeps it from 5 stars in my opinion.

    Issues at hand…
All the animations do not work as they should but this is not a crisis.
The preview isn’t accurate when ‘creating’ the popup meaning you have to constantly reload the page to see what you’ve got going on.(Side preview is ‘ok’ but breaking the css in the admin.)
After most recent update my theme broke and I had to remake it.
After most recent update when selecting which page to load on the ‘products’ section shows up twice in the list of choices.

While I would definitely recommend this plugin to anyone… 5 stars mean there’s no room for improvement and there’s a bit of room.
    Thanks for a great plugin.

@nes – Native English Services – Thanks for the great feedback. I’m gonna take a minute to address each of your points.

Grow Animations Not Working: You are 100% correct. They did work but due to GPL licensing requirements we had to remove our usage of GSAP(Greensock Animation Platform) which is the best animation JS available. In fact I paid for a commercial license so that I could give it away with popup maker. That said the GSAP code is not GPL which means its not allowed in the www.remarpro.com repo and we got flagged and were forced to remove it. The grow animations without GSAP are very hard to get looking correct when combined with all the other options such as location and animation origin so we had to temporarily remove them until we can work out an effective solution that doesn’t look like crap. In the mean time we didn’t want to break all the popups that were already set to use those so we set the grow animation to simply use one of the other animations in its place for the time being, otherwise the popups wouldn’t have loaded properly. Grow is coming back with a few others but we first have to get the animations smoothed out properly.

Preview in Admin: Couple of limitations here that are out of our control. First a lot of developers don’t register their shortcodes in the admin. The form plugins are all guilty of this. This means that those shortcodes won’t properly render in the preview. Secondly we can’t account for/load your themes styles & other plugin styles in the admin as this would cause other things to break. This limits the true effectiveness of the previews but as I said that part is out of our control. One thing I have considered is doing the preview like the page/post preview where it opens a new tab on the front page with the popup showing. This would give a true preview but means switching tabs. Open to your suggestions on this one as it has bugged me for some time and been the cause of 1/10 support requests.

Broken Theme on update: Sorry to hear that, haven’t seen this one yet so I would be interested to hear more about how it was broken or what errors you experienced so that I can properly address them for others. We ran public beta tests for several weeks before release of v1.3 due to new data storage methods. That said we left old data in tact in case there were issues and even allowed old data to merge with new data. That means that when we call for the theme overlay bg color it pulls from new and old. If new is empty it uses old. That will be there until v1.4 when they will be removed. So this leaves me wondering how it broke in your case but I look forward to your response.

Products showing twice: I don’t think I completely understand this. Assuming you have WooCommerce installed which we just added better support for. Are you saying that the Product Post type is appearing twice under the Targeting Conditions section? I didn’t see that in testing but will look into it once you confirm thats the issue.

I will be looking into solutions for each of these. I hope that once we get those items ironed out you will consider revising your review and star count :). Look forward to your response.
