• Like this plugin fairly well.. it’d be nice to have a few more options in how it displays on the page.. but it does function as intended.

Few issues on the 1st installation but the author was prompt in sending out updates to the plugin to resolve..

Only thing i don’t like which holds it back is that it only displays the 1st Alert… but if there are several for the State (which is what we configured it for).. it does show them in a ajax style box below automatically.. it’d really be nice if it said something like “multiple alerts”.. or if it allowed you to list the top three (configurable)most severe alerts..

    Good Job!

    Thanks for the good review!

If you could elaborate on what type of display options you would like I’d be happy to consider adding it.

As for only displaying the first alert, I’ve been working on the next release and have included a “List” display style that lists all alert entries with no need to mouse over. I’ve also completely refactored the output methods to make them dynamic, and this allows you to add your own display styles (basic/bar/full) by modifying one of the default display templates and then registering it in your theme functions.php file.

I’m not quite ready to push out the release yet, but I’d like to also include the ability to limit the number of alerts that display as well, such as your suggestion of three.
