    Thanks for a nicely done plugin here that solves the problem of missing alt text quite well.

    2 Suggestions…

    First, I believe many of us would appreciate you moving the menu item under settings where it belongs rather than having its own top-level menu. There’s no need for that other than to promote your other plugins ?? I’m all for promotion, but plugins with a single settings page don’t need their own top level slot.

    Second, if the image filename has dashes or underscores, those are also added to the alt text. It would be quite helpful if you could strip those out.
