• Really like this plugin, but it’s missing a selector to make the links into dofollow ones instead of nofollow ones.

This means I’m having to put extra links into my text to satisfy my SEO plugin.

Any chance of adding dofollow links in the future?

The plugin does actually have that option when using the Gutenberg Block Editor.

You can set it to be dofollow or nofollow in the sidebar.

Ok but I use the Classic Editor as I can’t stand using Gutenberg.

Any chance of releasing it for the classic editor?

Might add it to the classic editor later as well but I can’t make any promises.

I do highly recommend giving Gutenberg another try. It really has improved a lot. With our plugin you’ll also get a live preview instead of just the placeholder.

With at least one extra click needed to activate a Gutenberg block and then finding the widget, then needing to find the settings on the right-hand side, plus usually an extra click to publish a post – compared to dropping a Visual Link Editor via its icon with one click using the classic editor, I’m afraid we must agree to disagree.

You can actually just type /vlp to add that block, so I’d argue that Gutenberg is even faster.

Anyway. This is not a discussion about Gutenberg. Unfortunately this particular feature is only available there.
