Nice + looks promising but major GDPR feature missing

  • Nice plugin for forms, good start but lacks some important features:
    – does not style individual fields but all at once. If there is a feature like this, the usability is very bad…
    – No GDPR Feature, a major importance in europe. Need to work with WP and saving user acceptance. Basic Check Box not useful, as there is no data for gdpr. If there is something hidden (as the docs are lousy, same bad usability
    So we are looking for a better solution

    Thank you for letting us know about your experience with Bit Form.

    Bit Form is the first plugin for WordPress in our company. We did not have any prior experience in developing any form plugin. But we did try our best to bring good functionalities with a better experience.
    We get a tremendous amount of feature requests, feedback & support since the first day of releasing Bit Form. From then, we listened to each & every word from you and implemented them as soon as possible [which you can see in our FB group and from other users’ reviews].
    Among all the feature requests, ‘Individual styling for fields’ has a huge bump in our request panel. Because of that, for 6 months we are re-building the Bit Form builder from scratch.
    Bit Form builder will get a whole revamped UI with exciting new features. Some of them are:
    1. Global Themeing [change the theme and give a new touch to your form].
    eg: Default blue, Material (Filled & Outline), and also No Theme (inherit from your website theme)
    2. Individual Field Themeing [override & choose a theme for your specific field]
    3. Form styling [change once, design all]
    4. ** Individual Field Styling [style your fields individually]
    But there’s more. All of the fields of Bit Form will be divided into layers in styling mode. Layers are the small parts of a field. Suppose, you have a text field, you will get the layers of:
    i. input (default, hover, focus)
    ii. prefix icon
    iii. suffix icon
    iv. label
    v. subtitle
    vi. helper text
    vii. error message
    Text field is just a basic field. The custom & advanced fields will be divided into much more layers to style individually.
    * Worried about the huge number of layers? Builder will also have a layer selector tool, which will give you the ability to hover on a part of your field and that will show you the styling section of that layer.

    About GDPR: We know the importance of GDPR and we already have a field for it. That field is called ‘Decision Box’. It is a generalized field that can be used with many use cases.
