Nice Idea – Consolidated Comments?

  • This is a great concept, but poor execution. Why would I want people to have to tab between different comment channels to view comments? Sure, it’s fine to select a channel to comment from, but that is not a good view for READING comments.

    Create a consolidated view of comments and I’ll be a fan.

    (minus the more in-depth complaints listed within the reviews)

    I agree as well. This is more meaning-full to the webmaster. The users don’t really care what platform a commenter used to comment. Also, the toggle back and forth to read the comments is one extra step that complicates usage especially if using a mobile device. Some backend customization located under the comments section would be helpful for some webmasters. Now, what I wonder is will the plugin recognize the same user from various platforms using the same email ?

    It would be a nice feature to reposition the order that the comments are shown to show wordpress comments first or facebook comments first.
