Nice but missing some basics

  • I want to like this, but I had a pretty simple design target and it can’t handle my simple requirements.
    – I need a full-width flyout menu panel. This plugin won’t accept “80%” for the flyout panel width; it only takes “auto” or a pixel value. That ain’t gonna fly for mobile.
    – When I put in a gigantic flyout width, the menu items didn’t break into multiple columns. The plugin settings text says to keep the flyout width to less than 250px (I think) to keep it from breaking into columns. I want columns.

    Oh well. Might be useful some other day. Looks well-structured and useful.

    Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

    What you’re looking to do is possible with our plugin, you’ll need to go to Appearance > Menus. Hover over your parent item (the parent of the sub menu) and click the blue Mega Menu button. In the menu item settings, switch the Sub Menu Display Mode from “Flyout Menu” to “Mega Menu – Grid Layout”. That will reveal a drag and drop builder, where you can organise the sub menu items into rows and columns, and even add widgets (images, custom html etc) if you like.
