• I had a few problems when I tried to set this up, but all the other plugins had the same problems too, so I thought I’d try and find a workaround.

    My problem arose from trying to use ‘Dropbox’ videos as embeds on my website.

    Looked easy enough – just grab the link from Dropbox and paste it in – it wasn’t that simple though.

    Following the advice I found on a forum somewhere, I started butchering the links by removing the ‘dl=1’ bit after .mp4? and putting ‘raw=1’ in instead.

    Still not working, so I tried adding an ‘mp4 format’ into the additional formats box, and up it fired!

    Still getting a few admin warnings about the videos, but these can be safely ignored for now it seems, according to the docs.

    Really nice video player that stops you needing to rely on the likes of YouTube to embed videos, and it’s five stars from me!
