NGINX support – using .htaccess

    Hi,

    Can you please let me know if the plugin is still using .htaccess or has been modified to use php rules compatible with all servers? We are considering the Pro version, but we need to be sure that it works on Nginx server (with PHP FPM).

    Hi @acewebstudio

    We have moved many firewall rules to PHP instead .htaccess to suppot nginx and other server.

    Still some features like protect access htaccess, wp-config.php, debug log file, Directory index view, disable server signature etc rules are .htaccess.

    But perishablepress 6G firewall rules, Block XML RPC, bad query sting, advanced string filter etc are moved to php.

    We are going to improve more to move .htacces rules to php in future also.
