    Hi,

We have been noticing that WF is showing wrong user location since we migrated to RunCloud. On RC we are using the NGINX servers with Cloudflare Real IP configured. We tried changing the WF IP option to Cloudflare but that didnt work so we reverted to ‘recommended’ settings.

Is there any other solution on how we can fix this?

Hello @danishhaidri and thanks for reaching out to us!

I might be able to see what is happening with a diagnostic.

Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

    Thanks again!

    Thanks for sending that!

I do see the Cloudflare IP coming through and the Server IP. I also see your IP from where you sent it, so it looks like the Wordfence IP Detection is working.

Do you happen to have the “Bot Fight Mode” enabled on Cloudflare? I have seen that cause some issues in the past with IP detection.

Also, does your host need any trusted proxies to be added to the site? I am not familiar with RunCloud. I looked through their documentation and didn’t find much about it.

    Thanks again!
