nginx and SEO rewrite

im running wordpress on nginx server.
The rewrites provided don’t seem to be working.
I have other rewrites setup for word press that work find, however why I try to visit https://www.miamidadelosptes.com/sitemap_index.php I just get a 404 error page.I tried reading up on here but none of the fix’s seem to work. I’ve spent a good 5 hours trying to get this going. I had it working fine under apache.
