nginx and multisite

    Hi guys

    Does changing the dashboard / wp-admin url work for nginx + multisite? Are there any compatibility issues with plugins? And is there any performance loss with changing wp-admin or do the rewrites happen at the server level?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the feedback.

    For WP Multisites you will setup the plugin for the entire network and the plugin will tell you to add a line in nginx.conf or into the site config file with the rewrite rules. You will need to restart the nginx server every time you modify Hide My WP Ghost settings to update the new rewrites.

    The website speed will not be affected especially when you have a cache plugin installed. The avg rewrite time it’s 0.03s.
