Help! [nggallery id=XXX] not working after upgrade & breaks wordpress!

I just upgraded from 1.7.4 to 1.8.0 and now all my album pages are broken ??

My pages contain the following:

[nggallery id=205]

And they look like this (for example):

It’s so broken, the theme is being destroyed. The sidebars are gone and the rest of the page footer etc… is gone too. Any other page on my site looks fine, but not the [nggallery id=XXX] pages.

Does anyone have any ideas??

…and yes – I did run the database upgrade after the “automatic upgrade”…
