NGG dynamic album & tag cloud on same page

I’m trying to display a dynamic album and tag cloud on the same page via shortcodes (as described here: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/tags/). The problem is on the click-throughs to the respective tag gallery, the image list is printed twice, first where the [ nggtags album ] shortcode is and again where [ tagcloud ] shortcode is.
Anyone have a workaround?
