When i try to had a new gallery and select image to upload, i can see a message like “Upload complete 22 images were uploaded successfully”
But (ex : gallery called “paris”) :
    – with FTP I can’t see my new directory “paris”
    – Nextgen create gallery with same name, same way like “paris”
    – No thumbmails created

So with FTP, I create the folder “paris”, put in my pictures, click on scann folder for new images… All thumbmails aren’t created, i have to check all and click on create new thumbmail…

I haven’t any error displaying anywhere so I don’t know what I can do.

I don’t want to spam this thread but i would to add some informations and edit link as disapear…
I would like to inform you :
    – all directory about gallery are chmod777
    – I have tried to create a directory with FTP before to create the gallery with the same name (the way of directory is the same), pictures aren’t uploaded, but it’s always write “Upload complete 5 images were uploaded successfully”

Hi, since the Last update, when i try to create a new gallery, ngg create one folder per image… It’s very strange, nobody answer my topic because my probleme isn’t easy to resolve…
Maybe is there à debugmode available ?

Most likely it’s a permission problem.
Many providers don’t admit 777, so ask your provider for.

Thank a lot for your answer but my provider allow 777 and since my Last problem, lot of folder are created so i think 777 is OK.
    Any other idea ?

@godhunter – Are you still seeing this issue with the current release of the plugin (2.0.21 as of this reply)?

If you are, please feel free to submit a Bug Reports with your specifics here: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/

Given the description of the issue above, we will likely need log in credentials and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation, please include those for our Support Team / Developers to look closer at your site on the form as well (not here).

    Thanks!

I searched a lot and finally i found my problem…
i don’t know exactly what but my problem come from
EWWW Image Optimizer or NextGEN Gallery Optimizer or NextGEN ZCropper

I’m happy to found that, and i’m sorry to disturb everybody for my problem…

    Thank to all.

edit : EWWW Image Optimizer is the problem !!!

Maybe is there à debugmode available

    The first and the basic:
Activate default theme and deactivate all plugins.
You would have immediately solved your issue two weeks ago.
