    Can someone help me please?

I really want to use Imagemagick but it’s not working.

Ok after much much googling and fiddling around I finally discovered that the path nextgen is asking for is the just the folder path

On my host the path to imagemagick is

    /usr/bin/convert

convert is the executable meaning if it was windows it would say

    /usr/bin/convert.exe

the path we need is just the folder path. So I entered

    /usr/bin/

as the path to my library and now nextgen is using imagamagick properly
    YAY!!

I hope this helps anyone else who might come across the post.

It isn’t just you, but I cannot get any response on the problem. I’ve posted twice about NextGEN adding trailing slashes to all URLs. You can see my posts at:

I’m not using ImageMagick. I’m using GD Library. Removing the trailing slash at General Options > Gallery Path (wp-content/gallery/) doesn’t do anything. It saves, but the slash is just put back and all the galleries still redirect.

    High Aspirations, Inc,

As I posted above I was able to fix my issue with Imagemagick by providing the proper path instead of the full path with the executable. So I have imagemagick working now, As far as your other trailing slash issues go, I wouldn’t know about them and haven’t noticed the same issues myself.
