NGG 2.x breaks infinite scroll

Hello,
I had NGG 1.9 installed together with the infinite scroll plugin

Now I updated to version 2.0 of NGG and infinite scrolling stopped working.
I tested the two plugins in a fresh WP installation and as sonn as NGG is enabled, infinite scroll stops working. Tested with NGG 2.0.40 and beta 2.0.55.
