• I tried it by disabling all plugin and theme etc but it seems I can’t add a pagination to my single post. When I click on page 2, I got the “chrome” error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

what help do you expect with this posting? maybe you should consider adding a link to your page, some screenshots of settings, …?

    Yes sure ??
    You can go there :
    https://astuceimmobilier.com/decouverte/enfants-peuvent-etre-cruels-preuve-15-tweets/
(Without mapping, Url is : https://shot.fr/nathalie/decouverte/enfants-peuvent-etre-cruels-preuve-15-tweets/

    Main domain : shot.fr
    Permalink : %author%/%category%/%postname%
Domain mapped : astuceimmobilier.com -> https://shot.fr/nathalie (Nathalie is the author of the example)

This is just a test post

this looks like it does exactly what you want.

maybe you have a redirection in your browser cache? best is to test the plugin with developer tools open, where you can disable cache while having developer tools displayed.

Ok, but if you try in your side, do you have this king of problem ?
    Thank you

    (@matiou34)

Ok, not sure if I found a solution but, if I add another line to the domain mapped but this time with www,
    https://astuceimmobilier.com/decouverte/enfants-peuvent-etre-cruels-preuve-15-tweets/2/ NOT WOKRING
    https://www.astuceimmobilier.com/decouverte/enfants-peuvent-etre-cruels-preuve-15-tweets/2/ WORKING

Do you have an idea why I could get that kind of error ?

    Thread Starter matiou34

    (@matiou34)

I tried many different settings but I can’t get it work. Are you sure somebody already succeed to paginate a post with a mapped domain ?
I am with a fresh install and only your plugin.

    1) The page number 2 (3, 4, 5 etc.) is not working (Too many redirect)

    2) The page number 2 (3, 4, 5 etc.) is not working (Too many redirect)
    2

    3) Working BUT…
    3
The author page “nathalie” starts with www.
The post name starts with www.
The paginated post link start with www.
Paginated post link works if I remove manually www at the beginning to get the page 2

Is there something I do wrong ?

Thank you again for your help

    hy,
yes i am sure. that is why i write it on the plugins page.

i had a look at your site before, and now it behaves different again. if you ask for help, you will have to remain the same settings. how should i know if you are working on it or not?

please configure the settings now as you would like them to work. then make a new posting with:
    – how would you like the whole thing to work?
    – what is not working? what is happening instead?
    – screenshot of your permalink and plugin-settings

oh come on, how often do you modify your postings? are you ready now?

    (@matiou34)

Ok, let me clarify everything. Sorry.

    Thread Starter matiou34

    (@matiou34)

Ok, let’s start from the beginning.

Goal : Map domains to author’s archive + postname

    – Nathalie is an author. Her archives is at shot.fr/nathalie
    – astuceimmobilier.com is mapped to her archives :

Post url from nathalies’s archive will be :
    astuceimmobilier.com/%category%/%postname%

Problem 1 : When the post is paginated, page number 2 is sending too many redirect and is not working (301 redirect, too many redirect).

Problem 2 : When accessing the domain by
    https://astuceimmobilier.com/decouverte ERROR 404
https://astuceimmobilier.com/decouverte/ Working (Show the author’s post filtered by category)

    Plugin Author matthias.wagner

    (@matthiaswagner)

    hy,
ok now i see – it is not the post list pagination but one post with pagination. that is something that we really did not test so far. thanks for pointing that out.

i will put it on our development list, but i have to tell you that new features/releases are pretty far away right now as this plugin is only a “side-product” of our agency. as we have it running in own and client sites, we will keep it working of course. but we do not have much time for further development…

Is there a way to hire your agency for this dev ?

    (@matthiaswagner)

of course, please send me an email to matthias.wagner (a) falkemedia.at with your contact details. we will have a look at it and get back to you with an estimation.
