I have a fresh install with Windows 2008, PHP, MySQL WordPress 7 and NextGen 1.0.2

Everything seem to work well until I clic on a thumb, then having Nextgen waiting forever.

It’s a french version of WP, but I tried with the original version and got the same result.

Anybody with a solution ? If not, how can we trace the process going on ? Is there a way to start a log ? This could help to pinpoint to the problem.

    Tks

There is a few posts talking about this problem, but nobody ever gave an answer to it.

I finally found the source of the problem : access rights on my Gallery folders were not correctly set. I dont’t know why that happent, but the important thing to remember is that one of the tool within the plugin won’t report the error that you, as an anonymous user, have no right to read the files within the specific gallery files you are pointing to.

Because there is no error processing chain for that, then the plugin appears to wait forever and don’t inform you.

So if this happens to someone else, check the access rights on the Gallery subfolders.

    That’s about it.
