I’m reworking a site with wordpress. I’m using a child theme of Omega called Custom. I am also using the latest version (2.1.7) of NextGEN for galleries and their slideshows.

So here’s my problem, the slideshow does not respond when for phone devices. But here’s the thing, in the actual parent theme, Omega, it does.

I’ll include a couple of links to images so you can see the differences.

It seems like the problem is in the theme. What would I look for? What’s the key to getting the slideshow to be responsive?

@screamingskull – We bundle the Lightbox libraries with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience which is what you are referring to. I would recommend looking at our NextGEN Pro Lightbox for a more responsive Lightbox effect to use with NextGEN Gallery.

@screamingskull, a new version of Custom Theme with fixes has been uploaded to wp repo for review.

NextGEN Pro is a must have upgrade for a responsive lightbox.

My problem I had with NextGEN plugin has been fixed. Themehall looked at the code in the style.css file for the Custom Theme and shared a fix with me. Now they have submitted a fixed update that should help it work for everybody.
