NextGEN Singlepic thumbnail ratio

Hi, I’m using nextgen 1.3.5.

I’ve loaded an image into nextgen which is somewhat wider than 4:3. I’ve set thumbnail dimensions to 200×150 (which is 4:3 if I’m not mistaken) and ‘Set fix dimension’ is activated.

The problem I’m having is when using singlepic on the above image, the original wide aspect ratio is preserved in the thumbnail. I have several images arranged on the page and since the others all started off as 4:3, the wide one looks out of place.

The shortcode I’m using is [singlepic id=32 w=200 h=150].

I’ve tried disabling the singlepic cache but it didn’t help. I’ve tried re-generating the thumbnail but it didn’t help.

Interestingly enough, the generated thumbnail under the gallery-name/thumbs folder has the correct aspect ratio. I’m guessing shortcode must apply some transformation on the image when using singlepic which doesn’t happen when using a normal gallery.
