• Hey, thanks for asking, but as far as we could test it — everything seems fine! We used the default settings, uploaded an image via their uploader and inserted it in a new blog post via Media Gallery (via NextGEN Gallery tab).

Is there anything wrong on your side? If so, which settings do you have? What happened exactly? Let us know & we’ll do our best to help you out!

Take care & we’re looking forward to your reply!

The problem is that all plugins, that are showing “Related posts”, doesn’t see any preview picture in all my [singlepic] and gallery posts.

As all of them are using the standard wordpress’ post thumbnails, I suggested that the problem is that NextGEN doesn’t generate them.

So I’ve tried a couple of plugins that generates post thumbnails for all my existing posts using the 1st picture in post. They also doesn’t consider NextGEN’s singlepics and galleries as picture posts ??

Are there any workaround for this issue? Thanks.

Hmm, not quite sure what’s the problem here, to be completely honest with you.

You are positive you have our plugin installed (sorry for slightly stupid question, but we hat to ask)? May we get a link to the blog in question, in order to have a closer look? Have you tried the ‘Regenerate Thumbnails‘ plugin, to regenerate them?

It all seems as if the problem you’re experiencing has more issues with that NextGEN’s [singlepic] than with our plugin, or am I mistaken? Have you asked their support team for some help?

Let us know, we’re still very eager to get you on the right track here! Looking forward to your reply!

Take care!

Best,

Oops, in my previous message I was sure that I’m speaking into NextGEN’s thread ?? Thats why it looks illogical ??

My blog is fully in Russian, but I shall try to explain using screenshots.

So here is an example post in my blog: https://vorchuchelo.com/photo/fenek-20140228/
And here are it’s “related posts”: https://vorchuchelo.com/img/related_posts.gif

Only 2nd and 5th has real thumbnails, others has no thumbnails so WPRP uses it’s default thumbs. Let’s find what the difference between all these 5 posts? Here are the source:

1: [singlepic id=517 float=center]
2: <img class=”ngg-singlepic ngg-center” alt=”Spice must flow!” src=”https://vorchuchelo.com/wp-content/gallery/animals/spice-must-flow.jpg” />
3: [singlepic id=588 float=center]
4: [singlepic id=101 float=center]
5: <img class=”ngg-singlepic ngg-center” title=”Ghostbusters vs. Supernatural” alt=”Ghostbusters vs. Supernatural” src=”https://vorchuchelo.com/wp-content/gallery/movies-cartoons/ghostbusters-vs-supernatural.jpg” />

Of course it’s NextGEN’s issue, but it’s the most popular gallery plugin for today. That’s why I asked if WPRP has support for it ?? Or maybe you can suggest any workarounds. I wrote to their support too, but they didn’t answered yet ??

Thank you and sorry for misunderstanding in previous message ??
