nextgen public upload–dissapeared my site!!!

  • so i just tried to upload the nextgen public uploader on my site and a minute later my entire site disappeared with only this message coming up

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/250844/webspace/siteapps/115358/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-public-uploader/inc/npu-upload.php on line 7

    i have uploaded everything straight onto wordpress (not through an ftp) so i dont know where to even go to begin to solve this…..i can’t get to my dashboard or even the log in page

  • use ftp client or host’s file manager to rename the /nextgen-public-uploader folder inside the /plugins folder
    this will deactivate the plugin and let you log in
