NextGEN Pop Up Message

I recently downloaded the NextGEN Gallery and am trying to use the plug in but the blue “Important Message” pop-up box regarding the acquisition of NextGEN by Photocrati repeatedly pops up a few seconds after each time I DISMISS it. I have clicked on all of the links and it continues to popup. Please tell me how to make it stop so it will stop blocking my screen. Thank-you.
