NextGen opens both single pic and slideshow

    Hi

    just installed NextGen Gallery and generally like it.
    I do have one problem however. When I click an image in a gallery it both opens as a single image and as a slideshow and when clicking next image in the slideshow the first image is still in the background.

    Hi @dacobi,

    That’s because of the theme’s lightbox that parallelly opens with NextGen’s.

    You can either reach the theme provider’s support asking for an option to deactivate Magniffic Popup from their theme’s code or disable NextGen’s from “Dashboard -> NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects” by selecting “None” for “What lightbox would you like to use?” then press “Save Options”

    Nevermind, found the theme option to disable lightbox ??

    Disabling the lightbox effect removes the problem but it also removes the slideshow altogether.
    Is there a way to open slideshow when clicking an image instead of single image?
