  • I have the same experience, and after some digging it seams like there is some issues with the CSS in the iframe.
    the body-tag has:

    visibility: hidden;
    opacity: 0;

    This problem was solved when deactivating the sitepress-multilingual-cms plugin (3.1.8.4).

    • nextgen-gallery-plus 1.1.3

    same problem

    I deactivated the WPML plugins and it works. Some compatibility issue there.

    Thank you, RobWord. But I am afraid to update NGG as it took me quite a while to get it running (previous version) again (implementing an old mySQL database from the day before…)

    Same problem here, there is a compatibility issue between WPML and NGG. I hope a fix soon will come for this problem.

    And another one over here!

    I would suggest making older versions more readily available and providing downgrade instructions given all the problems that may occur …

    That`ll be great, master. As far as I remember, Alex rabe did so … ??

    Ehm, and in the mean time, this should do the trick:

    ??

    edit: rollback to 2.0.66.37 and nextgen is up and running again
    note to self: stop hitting upgrade buttons blindly

    Hey all – just wanted to confirm we’re actively looking into this issue now. We have indeed found a compatibility issue with WPML. We’ve fixed that (though not yet released). I’m not sure everyone here is having the same issue, but if you have WPML installed, that’s probably what it is.

    We’re working through this and a few other fixes/patches to our latest release, and the goal is to try to push a quick NGG update in the next few days.

    Thanks. (Erick)

    Hello,

    it would be wrong to debug the problem on a new version of WPML, which is already on today in public beta, and it certainly soon be issued. I hated to solve those problems again.

    Hi all – we’ve just released a quick beta that has a fix for a compatibility issue with WPML that was causing the NextGEN insert gallery window to be blank. It also has a few other fixes.

    If you want to try that, you can download it here:
    https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

    Otherwise, it should be officially released in another day or so.

    @azifaral – I’m assuming we’d want to make this fix regardless, but are you saying the WPML team is specifically planning to address this compatibility issue in an upcoming release? Wasn’t quite sure why you wouldn’t want us to resolve it.

    Thanks! (Erick)

    I can confirm that my problem was solved with this beta.
    Thank you ??
    I look forward to install the officially released version soon.
