NextGen not work since a few month

    Hello,

    I’ve got headache with nextgen which use to be great to display my pictures. First it was before the update where

    Now with WordPress 4.3.1 and NextGen 2.1.15 nothing work. When adding pictures to a gallery, there are no thumbs after uploading. And when adding a gallery to an article, I get a messy-not-understandable window, which is not inserting anything but a single image whatever option I choose.

    What are you doing NextGen? You used to be a reference but now everything is broken from a long time and the last update in which I place a lot of hope is worse than my worse nightmare.

    When do you think you can make a working plugin available ?

    Hi @kenmaclord . I mentioned the below in a separate thread that I’d like to share with you. I think it applies to what you’re experiencing …

    it’s actually very important that you keep WordPress, plugins and your theme all up to date. It’s not only about new features, but more importantly security improvements to better protect your site from hackers.

    Now, being that WordPress is open source, that means there is always a risk of conflict between plugins or between a theme and plugin. All these elements are being maintained by separate developers. I hope this helps clarify.

    Now, it may be that our latest update included some code that doesn’t work well with your present theme. If you have any updates available, I’d suggest installing those. Also check for a plugin conflict by temporarily deactivating all plugins, and reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Clear your browser cache and reload. Does that help?
