NextGen not importing basic files after going LIVE

  • I am facing a strange issue. I am using NextGen 2.0.79

    My NextGen plugin and gelleries are working fine on the staging site.

    But after I made the changes LIVE. the NextGen gallery stopped working i.e., the images were not opening in a lightbox as desired. On inspecting the issue, I found out that basic css and js files were not being included in the header on the LIVE site. The javascript code at the footer of the page was included properly.

    So, in order to make the galleries work I included the files manually in my header file.

    Can you please tell me why such a arrived after activating the plugin on the LIVE site?
