Nextgen Nivo plugin: how to use beforeChange and afterChange

  • Hi there,
    I’m having troubles using beforeChange and afterChange in the shortcode of Nextgen Nivo galleries.
    The plugin instructions say:
    beforeChange: (ex: beforechange=”setting”)
    afterChange: (ex: afterchange=”setting”)

    But what is “setting” exactly? Where do I put my jquery code? I tried to put directly inside the shortcode but it throws an error of this kind:
    Uncaught Type Error: Undefined is not a function

    Can someone give me a hint of how to use them?
