  • Wow you’ve given some pretty vague descriptions.

You title mentions a problem but then you don’t say what happens.

Which version of nggallery are you using ?

Which theme are you using ?

    What gets “mangled” ?

When I preview the post, my theme becomes mangled, hard to describe, everything shifted, or in the wrong place, my theme is custom built. NextGen 1.9.13.

Sadly sounds like an issue with your theme. I’m using the same version of nggallery and a custom theme (that I made) and I don’t have problems, usually the issue is from a problem with the theme. Possibly missing the footer.

    Try this please :

    Click Gallery

On the right hand side you’ll see Plugin Check, click the Check Plugin button. Then let us know the results. Hopefully it’s an easy fix like missing the footer.

    Good luck.

    Everything is a green check-mark.

It’s most likely a issue with the theme, I assume !

Wow, I was hoping you’d get an error which would lead to a resolution.

    Try another theme.

    Good luck.

    Thanks, any other suggestions ?

Hard to say without seeing. Take a screenshot please. Maybe someone might know the reason it’s mangled.

Maybe you just have to alter the .css

This is a screen capture portion of my theme, mangled. I didn’t include the rest of the theme, hopefully this portion shows what is happening when I want to insert a NextGen gallery image into my post.

Hard to see what happening, that gallery is shifting the page ?

You may have to modify the css of the theme.

I understand you may not want people to see what else is on the page, but to get a full understanding I think we need to see a little more.

The gallery is shifting all the styles, in all sorts of directions.

I can send you a temp link of the mangled page via PM ?

    Sure

    (@xfactory)

Odd, where is the PM link ? I’m looking and looking can’t see it.

Wow I don’t see it, I clicked on your member link and I don’t see one.

My apologies on my slow replies. You can email it to me if you want.

Your email address is blocked out. Your user profile has no PM link, what I meant to say in my last message.

Well my previous posts were deleted [Note: Keep support on these forums]

Try using Firebug on you site and see what’s happening with the css.

    Good luck.
