NextGen issue with new gallery / or adding image to existing gallery

    I’m having an issue when I’m trying to add photos to my NextGen gallery for my WordPress webpage. I am able to create the gallery, however, when I try to add images to the gallery, the thumbnail does not show up in the manage gallery section – nor can I see any images once I save that gallery. I also tried to add an image to an EXISTING gallery in my site. I took it upon myself to DISABLE ALL of the current plugins in my site, and tried it again. Same issue. I RE-ACTIVATED the plugins, tried adding the gallery, same issue. (When I upload the images, I am seeing the percentage increase for them, so it appears they are uploading, however the never show up in the gallery)

    I would appreciate any help anyone could offer.

    Cais-Has there been any update on this? I appreciate the fact that it appears to have been escalated, and everyone is doing their best to rectify the problem, however, its becoming a bit of an issue at this point. I really would like to be able to update my site with new content and am still not able to.
    Please advise.

    @salcaps – As I noted before, let’s keep the conversation in the Bug Report … but as to an update I have not seen anything back from our developers for your specific site issue.

    This matter appears to be open after 6 months… I, too, have trouble finding a way to add to an existing gallery.
    I tried <edit gallery> –> <scan folder for new images> —> No Response.
    As a ‘newcomer’ my galleries are few, so it’s easy for me to simply restart one from fresh.
    The problem is, what about the future, with many galleries?

    My problem has since been resolved. I think my issue was a problem with an older version of WordPress. Once I updated to the latest version of WordPress, and the latest version of Nextgen gallery problems resolved. One note, after these issues were resolved, I’ve actually moved my website onto a linux backbone now,works much nicer, much more stable.
