• I’m wanting to create a template to achieve a specific look. Here is my goal:

In div (A) I want a thumbnail gallery of albums. In div (B) I want to display the imagebrowser gallery of the first album from div (A). When a thumbnail (album) is clicked in div (A) I want the imagebrowser in div (B) to load that album instead of loading in lightbox.

Next I want to have the imagebrowser gallery open in lightbox if the image is clicked in div (B).

I hope that makes sense. To give you an idea of how it will look, the existing site I’m modifying is https://davidnbrush.com/portfolio.php?data=hinton1.

Once I get this working I have a little more functionality to add, but I need to get the basics done first. Can anyone point me in the direction of a post or tutorial on creating a template like this in the newest version of Nextgen?

    Thanks,
    Keith

@hig116 – We are working on documentation / tutorials for creating and adding new templates to the current branch of NextGEN Gallery (2.0.x) but as we are more focused on addressing current issues and resolving those first it may be some time before we can offer “official” documentation to that affect.

Please feel free to keep any eye on this page as the documents will likely appear here first: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/help/

IF there is a specific feature or functionality you are looking to add to an existing template please feel free to let us know here, as well: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/feature-voting/

    Thanks!

We’d like to see what you come up with, too.
