[NextGen Gallery]tags connected with wp tags/suggestions?

I really love the tag cloud feature activated in widget, so i taged all posts i did in WP so far and i got a good amount of tags now. Besides this i use the NextGen Gallery with alot of Pictures, which i tag as well. My first Question is: Can those tags be connected, like NextGen and WP share one tag source? I really dislike that there are 2 “tag clouds” now.
Concerning this, it would also be interesting that NextGen Gallery gets also tag suggestions like you have in every WP post. So you just have to click on your desired tag, maybe add a few new yourself.
It would be really nice if this 2 points could be lead together and make the tag system compact.
I wonder if anyone here has ideas? Maybe also a few plugins that lead to a solution of this “problem”
