NextGen Gallery/PRO Slideshows not showing

  • Hiya

    I’m running the latest version of everything (NextGen Gallery, PRO and WordPress), and just cannot get a slideshow to show up. I can get thumbnails no problem, but whenever I choose Slideshow in any format, it’s just not happening.

    In regular NGGallery I get left hanging with the image loading gif, and in PRO I don’t get anything at all (except for the little grey/white arrow).

    My understanding is it might be something to do with jquery.cycle.js/jquery.cycle.lite.js, and/or jquery.prettyPhoto.js, both of which I’m running.

    Can anyone please offer any help or advice at all? I’m not super-hot on coding, but will give anything a try. Thanks loads in advance.

    Not a pro user but having the same issue…

    My slideshows used to show just fine. Haven’t looked at it in ages since I knew it worked and I didn’t update the pages but then today I tried to create a new one and all I see is

    !slideshow_deploy!

    So I went back to the old slideshows and I find the same there also. I am thinking it must have something to do with the update of WP as that is the only thing I’ve changed recently. Well, I tried a few themes also but am back to my original so yeah, only the WP update…

    Any ideas how to fix this? I tried disabling the plugin and re-enabling it but no luck

    p.s. I tried setting Avoid content filter to Yes and No. No change…. ??

    @mybadstudios – I would recommend you start your own topic for your own issue … and I really do not know what “Avoid content” filter you are referring to.

    Are you using the latest NextGEN Gallery? Have you tried the latest beta version (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/)?

    If the beta does not help, please start a new topic so we can address your issue separately.
